After years of founding and co-founding Irish business networks, one reality became impossible to ignore: we were all working hard but often in isolation.

Across Ireland and the global Irish community, there were exceptional people, strong businesses, and meaningful opportunities. But too often, they were fragmented, spread across regions, sectors  and networks that didn’t fully connect.

The potential was clear.
If we were more connected, we would learn faster, support each other better, and grow stronger together.

From lived experience, the frustration wasn’t a lack of ambition or talent. It was a lack of connection at scale.

That’s what led to the creation of We Are Global Irish.

We set out to build a global Irish business network designed not just to connect people but to unlock opportunity. A network community where trusted relationships drive real outcomes: trade, investment, and international growth. Because, when Irish businesses and global Irish networks are aligned, the impact is far greater than the sum of its parts.
